I made this cute door plaque for Molly’s birthday party. It was really simple and very effective.
All you need is cardboard, cupcake liners and a hot glue gun.
I hand drew a number 2 onto a piece of cardboard (I used a Huggies box) and cut it out. As for the cupcake liners I decided to dip the liners into pink food colouring. (Press on this link to direct you to the site I got the idea from) but you also can use any liners. I folded the liners in half and in half again. Using the hot glue gun, glue each cupcake liner closely together so that you can’t see the cardboard. This gives it a really full affect. Continue to do this until it is completed. Glue and tie a ribbon at the back to hang it onto the door.
Here are some other examples of Cupcake door plaques.
